Which Laptop Has The Best Specs?

i dont know computers at all, i have narrowed it down to two laptops im interested in… i would like to know which laptop is faster, which graphics are better, what the difference between the two are & why, what makes them better plz. I am wanting a laptop for mostly uni work and work with the occasional sims 2 fix.

Laptop 1 – Processor: Intel® Core™ i3-2350M Processor (2.3 GHz, 3 MB L3 cache), RAM: 6GB, Graphics Card: Intel® HD Graphics 3000, Screen Type: 220nit Anti-Reflective HD LED Display, Screen Resolution: 1366 x 768, Hard Drive: 500 GB, Optical Disk Drive: Super Multi Dual Layer DVD

Laptop 2 – Processor: AMD Quad Core A8-4500M (1.90 GHz, 4 MB L2 cache memory), RAM: 6 GB, Graphics Card: AMD Radeon™ HD 7640G, Anti-Screen Type: Reflective HD LED Display, Screen Resolution: 1366 x 768, Hard Drive: 1 TB, Optical disk drive: Super Multi Dual Layer DVD

Ive been told Laptop 2 is better for games but how much better? and would their really be that much difference in appearance and speed?

Also, if your answers could be as simple as poss plz b’coz laptops just confuse me but as much info as poss plz! :)

I totally recommend Laptop 2. The following is Laptop 2 compared to Laptop 1.

    Processor:
The processor is slightly slower, but it has more cores. Cores are good.

    Ram:
    Doesn’t matter.

    Graphics Card:
Stay away from Intel Graphics. Never, ever buy a laptop/desktop with Intel Graphics. The 7640G is your best bet in these two laptops.

    Screen Type:
I have no idea. I would think that it wouldn’t matter too much unless you use it outside.

    Screen Resolution:
    Doesn’t matter.

    Hard Drive:
Laptop 2′s Hard Drive capacity is twice as big as Laptop 1′s.

    Disk Drive:
    Doesn’t Matter.

The speed difference wouldn’t be phenomenal, but I still side by Laptop 2. It would be better for Sims, and storing files.

Personally I had rather have laptop #2 even if the processor
    is a little slower.
