IS THIS LAPTOP REALLY GOOD FOR GAMING?

Here’s the laptop:

My ‘frenemy’ wants it for gaming and thinks it’s amazing, is it?

  1. I’d give it 7.3 out of 10, it’s a decent laptop, but has integrated graphics. Not a dedicated card. And lacks a 1080p display, the graphics card is also relatively old. Any 4 digit amd graphics card is somewhat old

  2. A 3.1 ghz processor on a laptop is ridiculous. Plenty of full size desktops have a processor that big. That would be a very good gaming PC.

  3. The laptop has a Crossfire HD 8550G + HD8670M GPU. If you want to know what kind of games you can probably play with this laptop, check the link below:

Basically, there are some latest games that you can play, and some aren’t. Among games you PROBABLY can play (take with a pinch of salt):
*** DOTA 2, Total War Rome II, GRID 2, Bioshock Infinite, Starcraft II, Simcity 2013, Tomb Raider (2013), Dead Space 3, Far Cry 3, Medal of Honor Warfighter, Sleeping Dogs, Elder Scrolls Skyrim….**** (refer to the link above for more).

I would recommend HP Pavilion 15-n268sa, with A10-5745M processor, 8GB RAM, 1000 GB HDD storage, GPU HD 8670M.

Or, Acer Aspire V5-572G – Intel i5 processor, Nvidia GT 720M, 4GB RAM, 500GB HDD.
