Downgrade my Sony Notebook to Windows 7?

I recently bought a Sony Notebook model: SVE11136CA It originally came with Windows 8 installed but I have downgraded it and installed Windows 7. It is running but there are some drivers missing, can anyone tell me where I can find them? I asked Sony but they didn’t help.
Thanks Justin, but as I said it was originally came with Windows 8 installed so the Sony website only shows Windows 8 drivers.

  1. Sony has its drivers available online. Just Google "sony esupport". It’s usually first option. Once you’re on the website, you should see five large squares that link to various sites. Click on the first one, Drivers & Software. Here’s a link to the page if you prefer:

All you have to do from there is enter your model number. You’ll find several categories for your PC, including Audio, Wireless, Camera, etc. Expand and download the drivers you need. Once you’ve downloaded them, you can right-click on them and select "Run as administrator" to make sure the install goes through correctly the first time.

The drivers, even though they’re likely designed for Windows 8, should work fine with Windows 7. They’re highly compatible with each other, and you shouldn’t have a problem with installing them.

If you provided your notebook’s model number, I could link you directly to its page. Here’s the page for my Sony notebook, for example: Yours should look similar, but it will be tuned for your computer.
